The Family Room was born out of a simple but powerful idea: families need more places to connect, create, and just be—together. As a homeschooling mom and pediatric nurse, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful unstructured play, cozy corners, shared learning, and community support can be. But in our busy world, safe and welcoming spaces for all ages are rare. That’s why I created The Family Room—part lounge, part library, part play haven, and all heart. This isn’t just a place to drop in. It’s a space to belong. Whether you’re sipping tea while the kids explore, curled up in our Timeout Room for some well-earned rest, or playing a board game that sparks laughter, The Family Room is designed to meet families where they are and give them room to grow. We’re building something special here in Yuma—and we’d love for you to be part of the story.
